Workshop registration guidelines

To attend any of the workshops scheduled, please follow the guidelines described below that have been established by the Organization Committee of the International Conference on Palearctic Steppe Birds: ecology and conservation challenges (ICPSB).

1. Workshop participants must be registered for the conference.  Therefore, the first step is to register for the ICPSB. Please, follow the registration instructions available here. Participation in the workshops is free of charge and is included in the ICPSB fee.
2. Once registered as a conference attendant, registration for the selected workshop can be carried out through the attendant's personal area on the ICPSB’s website (https://steppebirds.com/) or at the venue during the Conference, as long as there are places available.
3. Seats for workshops are limited. Once all seats of a specific workshop are booked, the activity will disappear from the workshop registration platform, and registration will only be done at the venue during the Conference, as long as there are places available.

Maximum number of seats for workshop 1: 30

Maximum number of seats for workshop 2: 30

Maximum number of seats for workshop 3: 20

4. Registration through the conference’s website will open on 10^th February, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. (CET)
5. Until 18^th March, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. (CET). After this date, registration will only be available at the venue during the Conference, as long as there are places available.
6. Attendants can check if they are registered for a workshop in the attendant’s personal area on the Conference website, which can be freely downloaded from Google Play or Apple Store.
7. The technical secretariat reserves the right to make the necessary changes on the workshops program, which will be communicated to the workshop’s registered attendants, if they occur. For any information regarding this, please contact the following email: workshops@steppebirds.com.
8. Registered attendees should access the workshop room at least 10 minutes before the time indicated in the scientific program (or signage that modifies this schedule due to organizational needs). Attendees who are absent at the start time of the activity will be removed from the registration list, and the free seats will be made available for the following attendee on the waiting list.
